Most of us are familiar with mantras. If you don't use them, you have probably heard of them. Just in case you haven't a mantra is something people use to raise their vibrational energy to manifest something in their life. Some people use it in meditation, others say it to themselves when they wake up in the morning, and some people write it down during the day. It can be one word or a full sentence. An example for someone who wants to succeed in their career might say "my passion for my work attracts abundance into my life".
Mantras don't resonate with everyone, but I do recommend them. The reason is because repetition helps things sink into your subconscious mind. It makes it easier to make changes in your life if you believe that good things will come from it. The more you use it, the more it begins to feel real and obtainable. It also keeps your goals fresh in your mind when you take a minute or two out of the day to allow yourself to address what you want.
I have a few rules for using a mantra
1. Keep it as positive as possible. Focus on what you want instead of what you don't want.
2. For best results write it out a few times before you go to bed. Your subconscious is most suggestible before you go to sleep because you actually enter a light state of hypnosis. So this is the optimal time to give yourself suggestions for change
3. Keep it in the present tense. If you say you will attract abundance, you are forever putting yourself in a situation of waiting for abundance. Saying you have abundance is more affirmative and empowering.
4. Don't use more than two mantras at a time, and keep the mantra for at least 21 days. It takes 21 days to make a habit and at least 21 days to break it. So give it at least that amount of time to sink into your subconscious.
I have decided to make Mondays "Mantra Mondays". I will post a new mantra every week on my facebook page for you guys to use. So like my page for weekly mantras!
